PARIS (Thomson Financial) - French household consumption of manufactured goods rose 0.1 pct in September compared with a 0.7 pct rise in August, according to figures from the Insee statistics office.Year-on-year consumption rose 5.8 pct.The August figure was originally reported down 0.3 pct, Insee said.Economists polled by Thomson Financial News said they expected household consumption to be down 0.4 pct over the month and up 4.9 pct on the year.greg.keller@thomson.comgk1/cmr/gk1/sljCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
