FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The European Central Bank said net foreign currency reserves in the eurosystem decreased by 0.2 bln eur to 141.8 bln in the week to Oct 19 compared with the previous week.The ECB said banknotes in circulation within the eurosystem -- which comprises the ECB and the central banks of the euro zone countries -- fell by 1.9 bln eur to 638.7 bln.The gold position fell by 125 mln eur to 185.848 bln.christoph.steitz@thomson.comcs1/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
