Osaka bourse to launch trading in funds linked to Chinese, Indian stock indices

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - The Osaka Securities Exchange will introduce trading in funds linked to the Chinese and Indian stock indices and to gold prices and interest rates, in response to investor demand, the bourse said.

It said exchange-traded funds along these lines would debut on the market there as soon as March.

At present only Nikkei-linked exchange-traded funds are available there, the Osaka bourse said.
