AMSTERDAM (AFX) - ABN Amro Holding NV said Wednesday it will withdraw the listing of its ordinary shares from Euronext in Brussels and Paris because the low trading volumes of the stock no longer make it worthwhile. The shares will continue to be listed by Euronext Amsterdam and on the New York Stock Exchange. The timing of the delistings will depend on procedures of Euronext Brussels and Euronext Paris, the company said in a statement.ABN Amro shares in Amsterdam fell 0.2 percent to euro24.48 (US$31.77).Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
