Wartsila wins 31.5 mln eur power plant order in Jordan

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Wartsila said it has won a 31.5 mln eur order to build a power plant for a new cement works in Al Katrana, Jordan.

The 49 MW plant, ordered by the Al Katrana Cement Company, is to be delivered in late 2009.

The contract covers design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the plant.
