Essex Property boosts dividend |

PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) - Essex Property Trust Inc., a real estate investment trust that invests in apartment communities, said Friday it raised its quarterly dividend 36 cents, or 63 percent to 93 cents.The raised dividend is payable April 16 to shareholders of record as of March 31.Shares of Essex fell $3.11, or 2.2 percent, to close at $141.39 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
