Astroc in talks to merge with Catalan property company Aisa - report

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Astroc Mediterraneo SA is in talks to merge with Catalan property company Aisa, El Pais reported, citing unnamed sources close to the Valencian realtor.

The resulting group would be Spain's fifth largest property company by asset value, the newspaper said.

Separately, savings bank Caja Castila-La Mancha holds almost 3.5 pct of Astroc, Cinco Dias reported, citing unnamed sources.
