Japan's NEC Electronics Q3 to Dec net loss 5.8 bln yen vs loss 2.6 bln

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - NEC Electronics Corp's third quarter to December 2006 results:

Revenue - 177.9 bln yen vs 162.7 bln

Opg loss - 3.8 bln yen vs loss 7.0 bln

Pretax loss - 3.5 bln yen vs loss 4.4 bln

Net loss - 5.8 bln yen vs loss 2.6 bln

Loss per share - 46.59 yen vs loss 20.69 yen

NEC Electronics provided the following forecasts for the year to March 2007, which are unchanged from its earlier projections:

Revenue - 695 bln yen

Opg loss - 7.0 bln yen

Pretax loss - 19 bln yen

Net loss - 25 bln yen
