MILAN (AFX) - Fiat SpA aims at selling 120,000 units a year of its updated Bravo model, which is due to make its market debut between February and March, said Fiat Auto brand manager, Luca De Meo.'Starting in Feb-March 2007 we count on selling 70,000-80,000 Bravos (this year),' allowing Fiat Auto to sell 120,000 units over a 12 month period, he said.De Meo also said Fiat Auto expects to grow its market share in Europe by 5-10 pct in 2007, while in Italy he said it depends on the incentives.'We aim at consolidating our market share or even increasing it,' he said.De Meo said some 100,000-150,000 additional cars could be sold in Italy as a result of the government's incentive scheme aimed at promoting the purchase of less polluting cars.Separately Lancia brand manager Francois Olivier Lancia said Lancia wants to continue selling 100,000 units like it did in 2005 and 2006 and that this year will be a transitional year ahead of the launch of new models between 2008 and 2010.For Alfa Romeo, brand manager Antonio Baravalle said Alfa this year and next will adjust the sales network of the different sectors, like spare parts, in order to be ready to launch new products starting from 2008.'The objective is to continue growing in 2007 and 2008 when we will enter sectors where currently we are not present,' he said.He added that Alfa wants to continue selling the 155,000-156,000 units it sold in 2006.yael.schrage@thomson.comysc/rarCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
