ValiRx appoints James Thorniley non-exec chairman to succeed Anthony Moore

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - ValiRx PLC said it has appointed non-executive director James Nicholas Thorniley as non-executive chairman with immediate effect to succeed Anthony Moore, who resigned today to focus on other commercial interests.

The biopharmaceutical company also said further to his resignation, Moore has disposed of 100,000 shares at 12 pence apiece reducing his stake to 275,000 shares or about 0.87 pct.
