(Updates with amount, further details)LISBON (Thomson Financial) - Brisa Auto-Estradas de Portugal SA has signed a memorandum of understanding with Gazprom subsidiary Managing Company Leader (MCL) to participate in the about 2 bln eur tender process recently announced by the Russian government to finance, build and operate two toll roads, said a source close to the process.Earlier, press reports said that Brisa was going to sign agreements with Gazprom to take part in the future privatisation of Russia's road network.The two projects are the stretch of road between kilometres 15 and 58 of the Moscow-Saint Petersburg highway and also the new entrance to the Moscow ring road from federal road M1, Brisa said in a regulatory filing.The agreement coincides with the eve of the EU-Russia summit in Lisbon.luis.morais@thomson.comlm/akCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
