PARIS (Thomson Financial) - ATR, the turboprop plane company jointly owned by EADS and Finmeccanica SpA unit Alenia won an order worth around 55 mln usd to supply Spanish operator Swiftair with three ATR 72-500 planes, the two groups said.Delivery of the planes in a 68-seater configuration, is scheduled to take place between December 2007 and mid-2008.Swiftair's current fleet numbers 16 ATR aircraft, and ATR said it has sold a total of 864 new aircraft to date.tfn.paris@thomson.comafp/mrg/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
