MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Spain's energy watchdog CNE said it has removed Enel SpA's Viesgo from its list of principal electricity operators and replaced it with Gas Natural SDG SA.In a statement, the CNE said it has also added EDP Energias Portugal to the list due to the progressive implementation of the Single Iberian Energy market, Mibel. While Enel's Viesgo and Endesa SA were both present on the list, Enel had a 3 pct cap on its voting rights in the Spanish utility, despite its 24.9 pct stake. With Viesgo off the list, the voting cap can be removed, clearing the way for Enel's joint bid with Acciona SA for Endesa.tfn.europemadrid@thomson.comped/ambCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
