LONDON (Thomson Financial) - OAO Novatek said its second-quarter gross production totaled 7.29 bln cubic metres of natural gas and 593 thousand tons of liquids.Gross natural gas production increased by 230 million cu m, or 3.3 pct, and gross liquids production decreased by 40 thousand tons, or 6.3 pct, for the second-quarter period.In the first half, gross production totaled 14.90 bln cu m of natural gas and 1.21 mln tons of liquids, OAO Novatek, Russia's independent gas producer, said.Natural gas production increased by 580 mln cu m, or 4.1 pct, whereas gross liquids production fell by 59 thousand tons, or 4.6 pct in the first half of 2007.The company said total gross liquids production in the 2007 periods was in line with its forecasts and takes into account the natural decline in the concentration of gas condensate.
