Daimlerchrysler sells DC Aviation unit to Aton Group for undisclosed sum

FRANKFURT (AFX) - Daimlerchrysler AG said it is to sell its DaimlerChrysler Aviation GmbH unit to the Aton Group for an undisclosed sum, as part of a strategy to increase efficiency, and to optimise the company's portfolio.

The transaction, which is subject to approval from antitrust and aviation authorities, is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2007, said a company statement.
