Diageo confirms unit to buy 43 pct stake in Sichuan Quanxing for 517 mln yuan

LONDON (AFX) - Diageo said that the previously announced buy by its Diageo

Highlands Holding unit of a 43 pct stake in Chinese drinks company Sichuan

Chengdu Quanxing Corp will be for 517 mln yuan (about 34 mln stg at current

rates).
