Novell gets second Nasdaq warning |

WALTHAM, Mass. (AFX) - Data networking software maker Novell Inc. said Friday it received a second delisting notice from the Nasdaq for failing to file its annual report on time.The report was due Oct. 31, 2006. Novell previously received a non-compliance notice for delaying the filing of its third-quarter report.Novell said it has postponed filing both reports in order to complete a review of its past stock option grants.After sending the original letter, Nasdaq agreed to allow Novell to continue listing on the exchange as long as it filed the quarterly report by March 13, 2007. The company said it will now request an additional extension to file the annual report.Shares of Novell Inc. rose 8 cents to close at $7.07 on the Nasdaq.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
