TAIPEI, Taiwan (Thomson Financial) - Applied Materials Inc said it has been awarded a contract to build thin film solar module production line for Taiwan's Green Energy Technology Inc Ltd (GET).Applied Materials, a maker of equipment used to manufacture semiconductors, did not disclose financial terms.It said the systems are scheduled to be installed during the first half of 2008, with production expected later that year.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comwjCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
