BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - Belgian imaging and software group Agfa-Gevaert NV said chief executive Marc Olivie will resign from his position on June 30, as he 'considers his task to be fulfilled' in terms of spinning off the group into three separate companies.The group added that plans to complete the demerger by the end of the year are 'fully designed and its implementation entirely on track'.Agfa said the board has asked chairman and former CEO, Ludo Verhoeven, to assume the day-to-day running of the company 'during this interim period'.frances.robinson@thomson.comfr/jsa/fr/sljCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
