Fyffes wins Supreme Court appeal against DCC over unlawful share dealing

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Fruit distributor Fyffes PLC said it has won the Supreme Court appeal against DCC PLC regarding unlawful share dealing.

On April 7, 2006, Fyffes had said it was to appeal a decision by the High Court in favour of DCC.

Fyffes had alleged that the sale of shares by DCC in Fyffes four years ago, through DCC's Lotus Green subsidiary, constituted unlawful dealing in shares.
