Airbus says Egyptair takes options on additional 3 A330-200s

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - EADS unit Airbus said Egyptair, which last month placed five firm orders for A330-200 wide-bodied jets, took out options to acquire an additional three units at the same time.

Airbus confirmed the signature on the firm order, placed July 31, and announced the three options in a statement issued today.

The firm part of the order has a catalogue value of 860 mln usd.
