Franklin Templeton raises stake in Agfa-Gevaert to 9.13 pct

BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - US investment fund Franklin Templeton (Franklin Resources Inc.)has raised its stake in imaging technology and software group Agfa-Gevaert NV to 9.13 pct, Euronext said.

Franklin Resources Inc, known as Franklin Templeton, is the group's biggest shareholder.

As of August 8, 2007, Franklin Resources Inc owned 11,768,919 shares and held 9.11 pct of the voting rights, the group said on its website.
