SAO PAULO (AFX) - Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer has received a firm order for five E-190 jets from leasing company M1 Travel Ltd, which has also taken an option on five E-195 aircraft.

If M1 Travel takes up the option for the five additional aircraft -- which have a higher capacity than the E-190 -- the total value of the contract could reach 335 mln usd, Embraer said in a statement.

M1 Travel, part of Dubai-based M1 Group Ltd, will lease three of the jets to Geneva-based airline Flybaboo. M1 Travel is one of the biggest shareholders in Flybaboo.

Embraer will deliver the jets from 2008. Embraer produces four jets in the 100-seat range -- the E-170, the E-175, the E-190 and the E-19 -- with seat numbers ranging from 70 to 118.

Embraer is the world's third-largest commercial aircraft maker after Boeing and Airbus.

Embraer's orders book hit 14.8 bln usd by Dec 31 last year.
