SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Biotech drug developer United Therapeutics Corp. on Tuesday said it signed an exclusive Japanese distribution agreement for its high blood pressure drug Remodulin with Mochida Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd.Financial terms were not disclosed.Under terms of the agreement, Mochida, a Japanese pharmaceutical company with a cardiovascular focus, will obtain marketing authorization for Remodulin and then purchase the drug for distribution in the country, at a transfer price agreed to by the parties.Shares of United Therapeutics added 6 cents to $55.01 in aftermarket electronic trading, after sliding 63 cents to close at $54.95 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
