Fortum to build a 110 mln eur waste-fuelled power plant in Sweden

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Fortum said it will spend 110 mln eur to build a waste-fuelled heat and power plant at Stockholm, Sweden.

With a capacity to process 240,000 tonnes of waste annually, the new plant is set to come on stream at the turn of 2010-2011.
