WASHINGTON (AP) - JPMorgan Chase & Co. won federal approval to open four bank branches, a government agency said.The Treasury Department's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said in a weekly bulletin, released Wednesday, that JPMorgan's requests were approved Sept. 18.The new branches will be located in New York City; Colts Neck, N.J.; Elmhurst, N.Y.; and Levittown, N.Y.The agency also said it received five applications from the New York-based bank Sept. 17 to open branches in: New York City; Dallas; Hazlet, N.J.; Lehi, Utah; and Ramsey, N.J.JPMorgan shares dropped 37 cents to $45.84 in late trading Friday.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
