NEW YORK (AP) - Apparel makers ended mixed on Friday, as Gap Inc. said a laptop with information on job applicants was stolen.Gap said job data for about 800,000 job applicants, including Social Security numbers, were stolen.Elsewhere in the sector, Dress Barn Inc. said late Thursday it plans to restate its balance sheet for the fiscal year ended July 29, 2006, and the first three quarters of fiscal 2007, due to an error in the classification of its senior notes.Shares were mixed across the sector.Gap, rose 14 cents to $18.44Dress Barn, slipped 30 cents to $17.01New York & Co.
