BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - The Shanghai Stock Exchange plans to allow Hong Kong-listed red chip companies to directly list in Shanghai, the official Xinhua news agency reported, citing Shanghai bourse chairman Geng Liang.Red chips are companies that are incorporated and listed in Hong Kong with controlling Chinese shareholders.As overseas incorporated companies, red chips are currently not allowed to directly list on the mainland stock market.kai.guo@xfn.com
