Hong Kong govt sees yr to March 2007 budget surplus at 55.1 bln hkd

HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - The government expects to generate a budget surplus of 55.1 bln hkd in the current fiscal year to March, Financial Secretary Henry Tang said during his annual budget speech today.

The government originally forecast a budget surplus of 5.6 bln hkd.
