Plug Power Brings on Interim CFO |

LATHAM, N.Y. (AP) - Stationary fuel cell maker Plug Power Inc. said Wednesday David Waldek will serve as interim chief financial officer following last week's resignation of former CFO Jean Nelson.Nelson left the company on the same day Plug Power President Gregory Silvestri resigned as part of a wider restructuring. He was replaced by Plug Power Chief Executive Roger Saillant, who assumed the additional title of president.Saillant said in a statement that Nelson's resignation was 'solely her decision and a surprise to us.'Most recently, Waldek, 42, co-founded consulting firm CFO Advisory Group. He also served for six years as CFO of Albany Molecular Research Inc., a drug development company.Plug Power stock fell 2 cents to close at $3.48 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
