Daily Mail, India Today in JV to publish morning tabloid - report

MUMBAI (AFX) - UK newspaper publisher Daily Mail & General Trust PLC's division Associated Newspapers and India's India Today group have signed a joint venture agreement to launch a morning tabloid, Business Standard reported, citing sources from the Indian company.

The size of the stakes in the joint venture and the brand name of the new daily were not divulged.
