WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Air Force on Wednesday awarded a $5.6 million contract boost to a unit of Honeywell Inc. for 79 Global Positioning units, and other related equipment.Clearwater, Fla.-based Honeywell Defense and Space Electronics Systems will also provide 20 mounts for the GPS units, 10 depot repair kits and eight upgrade kits.The company is expected to complete work by May 2009.Shares of Honeywell added 30 cents to $56.31 Wednesday.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
