MILAN (Thomson Financial) - The holding company Telco, which is due to buy a controlling stake in Telecom Italia SpA, is expected to maintain the telecommunications company's management, the daily MF said without giving a source.Telecom Italia's senior management comprises chairman Pasquale Pistorio, deputy chairman Carlo Buora and CEO Riccardo Ruggiero.Telco's shareholders are Telefonica SA, Assicurazioni Generali SpA, Mediobanca SpA, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA and the Benetton family.The holding company is due to buy an 18 pct stake in Telecom Italia, currently owned by Pirelli & C SpA and the Benetton family, for 4.1 bln eur, increasing its stake to 23.6 pct.philip.webster@thomson.compw/nesCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
