Fitch keeps negative newspaper outlook |

CHICAGO (AP) - Fitch Ratings maintained its negative outlook on the newspaper sector Wednesday on weaker-than-expected year-to-date operating results.The agency said it is concerned about soft July classified results at publishers, including Gannett Co., Tribune Co. and McClatchy Co.Fitch said it will continue to keep an eye on issues including real estate ad trends, pricing and costs.Shares of Gannett added 12 cents to $47.21 in afternoon trading, while McClatchy's stock shed 11 cents to $22.36.
