Armor Holdings gets $44.1 million order |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AFX) - Military equipment and vehicle maker Armor Holdings Inc. said Monday it received a new delivery order from the U.S. Army worth $44.1 million.The new order brings the total amount gained under a previous contract to $75.8 million. The contract is worth a total of $93.7 million.The contract is for equipment used with gunner protection and supplemental armor components to protect military vehicles from improvised explosive devices, or IEDs.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
