COVINGTON, Ky. (AFX) - Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust Inc., a real estate investment trust that invests in hotels, said Monday it is considering putting itself up for sale.The company's board created a committee of its directors to explore strategic options for the company, including finding a buyer.Eagle said there was no assurance that any transaction would result.Morgan Stanley is Eagle's financial advisor.Eagle, which owns 13 upscale hotels with about 3,516 guest rooms, close up 20 cents or 2.2 percent, to $9.40 per share.
