Publicis talks down FY organic growth guidance, Q3 sales at low end of estimates |

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Publicis Groupe reported third-quarter sales in line with, but to the lower end of, a range of analyst expectations, and talked its full-year organic growth guidance down to 'over 4 pct' from a 4-5 pct range previously.Sales were 1.122 bln eur in the period, up from 1.013 bln, a rise of 4.6 pct on an organic basis, after growth of 0.5 pct in the previous quarter.Analysts polled by Thomson Financial News had seen organic growth at 4-6.7 pct.Exane BNP Paribas had expected sales at 1.14 bln eur, with organic growth of 6.3 pct, but had warned that 'the market is expecting a significant rebound.'According to the same analysts, the company had are cently hinted that it expects to be at the low end of its guidance.' for the full year, for which Exane BNP Paribas expects a 3.7 pct increase.But today's organic growth figures growth was in line with Bear Stearns' estimate of 4-5 pct.tfn.paris@thomson.commrg/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
