Spain FCC's Alpine unit wins 223 mln eur motorway contract in Poland |

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA said its Alpine unit has been awarded a 223 mln eur motorway contract in Poland.In a statement, FCC said the 18 km stretch of the motorway between Swierklany and Gorzykczkach is one of Poland's biggest construction projects and is funded in part by the EU.It also noted that the FCC plans to bid on more contracts for stretches of the motorway.Alpine has an order book of over 3 bln eur so far this year.tfn.europemadrid@thomson.comtr/kd1/tr/jagCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
