LONDON (Thomson Financial) - UK money supply growth slowed in September, but remained at elevated levels, final figures from the Bank of England confirmed today.M4, a measure of broad money supply, rose by 1.0 pct in September from August for a 12.8 pct year-on-year rise.In August, M4 rose by 1.3 pct from July and by 13.5 pct from a year earlier.The figures are unrevised from the provisional estimates.M4 lending growth meanwhile was revised up to 23.7 bln stg from the previous estimate of 23.0 bln stg.jessica.mortimer@thomson.comtfn-locCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
