NEW YORK (AP) - Microsoft Corp. said Monday it is buying software, intellectual property and other assets from privately held Bangkok-based Global Care Solutions.Financial terms were not disclosed.Microsoft said the acquisition will complement its portfolio of health solutions and give hospitals another option to help improve workflow and patient safety.Global Care's workers will join Microsoft's health solutions group, which will manage product development and delivery.Microsoft said it will continue to work with Bumrungrad International hospital, which uses Global Care's services.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
