Kraft Foods names West exec vp, chief marketing officer

BOSTON (Thomson Financial) - Kraft Foods Inc. Monday named Mary Beth West executive vice president and chief marketing officer, effective immediately.

West most recently served as group vice president of Kraft Foods and president of North America Beverages.

The company said West will be responsible for consumer insights and strategy, integrated marketing communications, consumer services, and sustainability.

Shares of Kraft, the Northfield, Ill.-based food manufacturer, were down 30 cents to $33.
