FMC Technologies 3Q revenue rose 22% on strong subsea systems ops |

NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - FMC Technologies late Monday reported third-quarter net earnings of $78.7 million, or 59 cents a share.Earnings from continuing operations were 60 cents a share.The mean estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Financial was 55 cents a share.Sales rose 22% to $1.14 billion, in line with Wall Street's consensus view, led by strength in its subsea systems business.In the same period a year earlier, the company's posted a net profit of 43 cents a share and earnings from continuing operations of 41 cents a share, on sales of $931.2 million.The Houston-based company which designs, makes and services systems for the energy, food processing and air transportation industries said it expects 2007 earnings from continuing operations of $2.16 to $2.21 a share.The stock closed Monday at $66.86, up 1.9%.Michelle Ramamr/gmCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
