BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Citigroup CEO Charles Prince had no comment at a media briefing here on a report that the bank has taken an advisory role in a Barclays PLC bid for Dutch bank ABN Amro Holdings NV.According to the Wall Street Journal, Citigroup Inc has joined a group of advisors to Barclays in its efforts to take over ABN Amro. The report said the advisory role removes Citigroup as a potential bid rival but still leaves the door open for it to bid on any ABN-Amro assets Barclays may not want.will.davies@xfn.com
