WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy awarded a $20.5 million contract to a unit of Lockheed Martin Corp. for advance materials for a ballistic missile.The award to Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., announced late Wednesday, is for the procurement of materials for the Trident II ballistic missile.The company is expected to complete work by September 2011.Shares of Lockheed Martin gained 82 cents to $98 in Thursday morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
