DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Ball Corp., which makes metal and plastic products, said Friday its aerospace subsidiary has won a $1.45 million contract from the U.S. Air Force.Under the contract, Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp. will work with Raytheon Co. to collect and analyze information gathered by sensors that identify distinctive characteristics of targets.Shares of Ball lost 31 cents to close at $53.17, while Raytheon's stock rose 40 cents to finish at $53.89.------------Questions or comments about this story should be directed to the Financial News desk of The Associated Press at 212-621-7190.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
