Lockheed gets $166 million contract |

BETHESDA, Md. (AFX) - Defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. said Tuesday it received a $166 million contract to make 60 rocket systems for the Army and Marine Corps.The weapons, known as High Mobility Artilery Rocket Systems, are slated to be finished by February 2009. The Army will receive 44 rocket systems and the Marine Corps will receive 16.Work is scheduled to be done at Lockheed facilities in Camden, Ark., and Grand Prairie, Texas.Shares of Lockheed rose 25 cents to $96.31 in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
