TAIPEI (XFN-ASIA) - The Executive Yuan, or cabinet, has permitted state-run Chinese Petroleum Corp to adjust gasoline and diesel prices in November amid higher crude oil prices, the Commercial Times reported.Premier Chang Chun-hsiung has authorized the company to go forward with adjustments called for by the current pricing mechanism given the possibility that crude oil prices will top 100 usd per barrel.Chinese Petroleum may raise gasoline prices by 0.80 twd per liter, with diesel to rise by 0.8-0.9 twd in November.Prices for natural gas will remain unchanged, it added.(1 usd = 32.40 twd)adela.lin@afxasia.com-xfnal/xfntmCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
