OSLO (Thomson Financial) - Norwegian internet search engine technology group Fast Search and Transfer posted a third-quarter operating loss of 85.56 mln usd.Sales came in at 35.59 mln usd, down from 42.48 mln for the same period last year.TDN Finans, in a survey of analysts, forecast a third-quarter pretax loss of 67.1 mln usd on sales of 36.6 mln usd.The consensus was for an EBIT loss of 68.8 mln usd.Fast said in a statement that the number of new customers selecting the group's products was at a record high in the third quarter.patrick.mcloughlin@thomson.compm/jrrCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
