(updates to add adjusted figures, consensus)NUREMBERG, Germany (Thomson Financial) - The number of jobless people in Germany in October fell by an unadjusted figure of around 110,000 to 3.434 mln from 3.543 mln in September, the Labour Office said.The unadjusted jobless rate in October fell to 8.2 pct from 8.4 pct in September.The number of jobless people in Germany fell a seasonally-adjusted 40,000 from September.Economists polled by Thomson Financial had forecast a decline of around 30,000 in seasonally adjusted terms.The Labour Office said the adjusted jobless rate was 8.7 pct compared to 8.8 pct last month, which was in-line with the consensus figure.The Bundesbank separately announced that the adjusted total jobless figure in October fell to 3.657 mln from 3.697 mln in September.judith.csaba@thomson.comdpa/jcs/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
