NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - TF North America Daybook Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007MAJOR U.S. EQUITY INDEXES:Wall Street is looking at a lower open Tuesday as investors paused for breath after a two-session run of gains sparked by expectations the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates to boost economic growth.According to spread bettors IG Index, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is expected to open down 18 points at 13,852. Separately, S&P 500 futures were off 2.90 points at 1,544.20 while Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 6.75 points to 2,208.75.Wall Street advanced Monday as investors undeterred by record oil prices speculated the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates later this week to boost the slow economy and lure more buyers into the troubled credit markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 63.56 points, or 0.46%, to 13,870.26, while the Nasdaq composite added 13.25, or 0.47%, to 2,817.44 and the S&P 500 index rose 5.70, or 0.37%, to 1,540.98.
